Level Up STEM Through Play
Play. Build. Create. Engineer.

About Me
My name is Krishaan Damalaceruvu
Hi, I’m Krishaan, a student at Gary Herberger Young Scholars Academy with a passion for robotics, AI, game development, CAD, and engineering.
I enjoy building things, from robots and video games to Minecraft mods and AI projects. Through my experience teaching younger students, I noticed that many kids are curious about technology but do not know where to start.
That inspired me to create game-based STEM learning activities that make engineering fun, simple, and hands-on for younger students.

Mission
My mission is to make STEM more accessible, engaging, and approachable for younger students.
Help younger students discover that engineering can be creative, fun, and within their reach.

My Activities
My activities reflect my passion for technology, creativity, engineering, and communication.

Robotics
Participated in FIRST Tech Challenge Robotics from 2021 to 2025, where I helped design, program, and optimize robots using Java, CAD, PID control, and computer vision.

Item CAD and Engineering Design
Designed a 3D-printed prosthetic hand at Rose-Hulman’s Club Catapult program, earning the Faculty Best Project Award.

Game Design
Created original video games, Minecraft mods, board games, and card games focused on strategy, mechanics, AI logic, and user experience.

Speech, Debate, and Moot Court
Competed in Speech, Debate, and Moot Court, developing public speaking and analytical reasoning skills and advancing to Nationals in 2025.

Software Development
Worked as a paid Software Development Intern at Turito, building AI-powered tools for an online learning platform.

Theatre
Participated in my school’s theatre program and performed in multiple plays, including Shakespeare’s A Midsummer Night’s Dream.

My Projects
Wumpus World (AI Solution)
A programmatic solution to the classic artificial intelligence "Wumpus World" problem. The project features an autonomous agent designed to safely navigate a hazardous, unknown grid environment to locate and collect hidden gold. The agent dynamically calculates risk versus reward, making real-time logical decisions to avoid deadly pits and the monstrous Wumpus.
Sharks (Godot Tech Demo)
An Underwater Survival Demo
A fast-paced, arcade-style survival game built as my introduction to the Godot game engine. Players plunge into the deep ocean to fight off infinite, escalating waves of hostile sharks using only their fists and a spear.
Dive in and see how many waves you can survive!
Beaver Fever (Game Jam Project)
A stealth-strategy game developed in just 72 hours with a small team for a 3-day game jam event. Players control a busy beaver racing to rebuild its dam while sneaking past the keen eyesight of patrolling wolves. Utilize the natural environment, hiding in bushes and ducking behind your own structures to break their line of sight.
Mythical Mayhem (Ongoing)
An ambitious, multiplayer class-based shooter featuring distinct character classes inspired by legendary figures from Greek mythology. As my flagship, long-term passion project, I am actively developing, balancing, and playtesting it with peers to perfect its mechanics and competitive flow.
Follow the development journey and join our next multiplayer playtest!
